From a young age, Jason Parkinson always wanted to be in the spotlight. At the age of 11, he performed in his first show, Damn Yankees, at the Fulton County Playhouse near Bryant, IL. From that point on, Jason knew that performance would always be a big part of his life. In 1999, at the young age of 15, Jason started his first job in Radio at WBYS AM-FM in Canton, IL. He worked there part-time through high school and his 2 years of community college at Spoon River College in Canton. While in High School, Jason founded DJ4U Mobile Entertainment, which is now one of the leading DJ companies in central Illinois.

In 2003, Jason graduated from Spoon River College with his Associates degree and Web Design Certification, and moved to Normal, IL to continue his education at Illinois State University. During his 2 years at ISU, He worked part-time for B104 (WBWN), a Regent Communications station in Bloomington, IL and also at TV-10 News in Normal. Jason did news reporting and produced a dating feature called "Dinner With Jason" while working for TV-10.

In 2005, Jason Parkinson graduated from Illinois State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a focus in Broadcast Journalism. Upon graduation, Jason joined Regent Broadcasting of Peoria as the mid-day host at 97.3 River Country (WFYR). Jason's voice has been heard on great radio station including: 97.3 River Country, 95.5 GLO, Power 92.3, 105.7 The X, WVEL-AM, B104, 101.5 WBNQ, WMAT Online Radio, WBYS AM & FM, and others.

In his lifetime, Jason has been involved in over 40 theatrical productions at several local theaters. He has won numorous awards for his acting talent, web design skills and broadcasting ability, including a Silver Dome award from the Illinois Broadcasters Association for his work at TV-10.

.:: JOHN PARKINSON ::.
Vice President / Entertainer

An upcoming new talent in the entertainment industry is our very own Vice President of Operations, John Parkinson. Although young, John has already excelled in many areas. By the end of his high school career, he had been actively involved with numerous activities. Some of which included Golf Team, Track, FCA, Chess Club, Math Team, Spanish Club, American Legion's Premiere Boy's State and National Honor Society. When he was only a Junior, he was elected to Student Council Vice President and Chairman of the School Spirit Committee. In his Senior year, the student body elected him Student Council President. During his career in student council, John attended numerous workshops and activities. He was also able to attend the Illinois Association of Student Councils State Convention three consecutive years. John was invited to make a presentation at the 2005 National Association of Student Councils National Conference (the first person from his school to ever attend a national student council conference). John graduated as a Valedictorian of his class on May 19, 2006.
Currently, John is a student at Spoon River College in Canton, Illinois. He is actively involved with the Honors Program and the Student Senate where he serves as Treasurer. He is working toward an Associates of Science degree and also a Certificate in Web Design. After Spoon River, John plans to attend Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois to study Meteorology and continuing to expand DJ4U into the West Central Illinois region.
